Who’s afraid of bauhaus?

The installation OBMOKhU' 19 goes back to a project from 2013. During a residency in Moscow, Wollgast brought into being the Reconstructivists, an imaginary artists' group, and created a publication on their activities using staged photographs, images of an existing exhibition reconstruction, drawings modeled on historical originals, and a historicizing text.

The installation OBMOKhU' 19 was created on the occasion of the exhibition who's afraid of bauhaus? at Museum Ratingen (2019). It brings together individual exhibits from the project and also presents the book, produced in 2014, laid out on a bench.
