The publication ‘Ray’ was published on the occasion of the exhibition ‘The Steps with no Name’ at Kunstmuseum Bonn. Designed in the style of a film magazine, it focuses on the narratives in Wollgast's works and exhibition stagings. The main text is by Barbara J. Scheuermann, whose doctoral dissertation already dealt with narratology in art. Besides documenting past projects, the book also contains fictional elements, such as an interview by Grischka Petri with Klaus Maier, an imaginary character from the project ‘The Age of Neptune’.
