The publication ‘OBMOKhU 79’ was published in 1979 on the occasion of the exhibition of the same name by the Reconstructivists, an artists’ group associated with the Russian Conceptualists. That exhibition was itself based on a 1921 presentation by the Russian Constructivists (OBMOKhU), of which it was an exact replica.

In addition to reproductions of works, the publication contains photographic documentation of the artists’ group and its meetings, sketches, and installation views.
