The shared Oasis of the Gift Shop

Cube, KHM Köln
2014

A total of four books, a postcard edition and a poster edition are presented on displays developed in collaboration with the exhibition designer Edi Winarni. The installation as a whole is to be understood as a modular work, created by bringing together several individual works. The individual objects, such as the vitrines containing books and postcards, can also be seen as works in their own right. At the same time, they present an exhibition within the exhibition, in which different works, some appropriated from art history and some entirely invented, are juxtaposed.
